SECC | Prevent Child Abuse NC

2022 Enrollment Period Open Now

The State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC) is the official workplace giving campaign for North Carolina state employees. Since 1984, state employee donors have contributed more than $118 million to charities that make North Carolina a better place for all of us.

Each year, organizations apply to be vetted and approved by the SECC according to their standards of charitable accountability – and Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina (#1535) is one of them!

During the “enrollment period” (October-November), employees can select PCANC as the charity they want to support the following year. Most folks give through payroll deduction, which means they have a pre-set donation amount (minimum is $3) automatically withdrawn from their paycheck each pay period. Those who are not eligible for payroll deduction can give by cash, check, credit card, or stock transfer gift on the SECC website.

PCANC receives a check from SECC each quarter that reflects all gifts designated to PCANC over the past three months. In 2021, state employee donors invested over $12,000 in Prevent Child Abuse NC – a generous, collective effort for an important cause.

The Enrollment Period for the 2022 Campaign is open NOW. If you are a state employee, consider opting-in to this convenient, efficient, and trusted way to give to PCANC (#1535). Or, if you know a state employee, please spread the word! YOU CAN Prevent Child Abuse, North Carolina. Participating in the SECC each year is one way to help.
