Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina welcomes Vaughn Reynolds of Charlotte to its 2016/2017 statewide board of directors. Reynolds joins a team of 14 volunteer leaders dedicated to ensuring all North Carolina children thrive in safe, stable, nurturing relationships.
“Vaughn’s experience with nonprofits around children’s issues makes him a great addition to our leadership team,” said Sharon Hirsch, PCANC president and CEO. “His passion and experience with youth will support our efforts to make wise investments in evidence-based and evidence-informed strategies proven to prevent child abuse and neglect before they occur.”
Reynolds is the Senior Vice-President of Bank of America, National Association. Prior to joining Bank of America, he served as an Associate at Hunton & Williams, LLP, in Charlotte, and Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A. in Orlando, FL, and a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young, LLP in Raleigh. Reynolds graduated from University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Master of Science in Accountancy, and received a Juris Doctor from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law. His past philanthropic experience includes serving on the board of directors with Right Moves for Youth, a nonprofit that provides resources and guidance to help students graduate high school with a plan for their future success, and was also a participant of the Mecklenburg County Lunch with a Lawyer Mentorship Program. Reynolds lives in Charlotte with his wife and two children.
Reynolds will serve a three-year term on the PCANC board.
