Positive Childhood Alliance NC New Logo

Creating more positive childhood experiences for every child means ensuring families have a voice in the decisions, programs, and systems that shape their lives. Join us March 2-4, 2027 in Durham, NC as we bring together family leaders, practitioners, community partners, and systems leaders from across North Carolina to strengthen how we work together to create the conditions for children and families to thrive.

Grounded in the Science of the Positive and the belief that family expertise is leadership, this year’s Summit is designed to move participants from learning and connection to shared action. Through lived expertise, practical learning, co-creation, and relationship-building, participants will explore what it takes to move beyond simply engaging with families toward cultivating authentic family leadership, sharing power, and creating opportunities for parents and caregivers to shape solutions.

Gain relationships, knowledge, tools, and strategies to elevate parent and family voice, partner more effectively with families and communities, and put family leadership into practice within organizations, communities, and systems. Together, we can create the conditions for more children across North Carolina to experience the relationships, environments, and opportunities that help build positive childhoods.
